The living area is large and light filled and opens onto the yard. Bedrooms one and three are a reasonable size, although realistically bedroom two really should be classified as a study. The kitchen is tight, yet good quality, while the bathroom is very tight and average in quality. For the property type, the land is large, which allows for good car accommodation with access from the rear, as well as a large studio that provides additional flexibility and living space. The combined living space of the property is quite large, but it is probably not suited to a family due to the tightness of the important parts of the home. As you enter Arthur Street off Heidelberg Road, the commercial premises there do spoil the initial feel of the street. There are also factories to the rear. But the property is quirky and it may draw some inner city buyers from the likes of Fitzroy or Abbotsford looking for the additional space.
