Comments on 20 Glanfield Street NORTHCOTE

Northcote is certainly enjoying strong property prices at the moment, and this home should perform well in a moving market. The feel overall is great, although the flow is somewhat impeded by the bathroom that sits in the middle of the home, and that means the path to the main living area at the rear is via the hall, then the dining, and then the kitchen. That aside, I think this home will be on the shopping list for a number of families. The living spaces are good with a fabulous extra living area/rumpus room upstairs, and I love the positioning of the master bedroom at the rear with its great outlook to the backyard. The kitchen is above average in terms of quality, although it could be a little better connected to the family room. This could be easily overcome and is not a big negative. Parking from the rear is particularly good, with a wide right of way and no access issues. I do wonder if Separation Street traffic will be an issue - it is unavoidable from this location and does get painfully busy during peak times. I like this home, it is well-presented and in a street containing some equally nice period properties.
