Comments on 36 Chrystobel Crescent HAWTHORN

Yes it's Grace Park and I'm biased and yes it's south facing and sits down on the road a little and yes the design is left field and not for everybody but I like 36 Chrystobel a lot. The entrance is what you would expect in a grand home with a reception area for coats and welcoming. To the left is a sun filed study and in behind is the master bedroom nicely separated from the bedroom wing to the rear. To the right is a music room and formal sitting room where you could entertain the important guests while keeping the rabble out the back. Going down a the corridor things start to open up and you get hit by the wow factor of this home. The whole indoor/outdoor thing works and the views to the wonderfully landscaped gardens are meaningful. By the way I hope the owner likes the rocks; that sized granite isn't something you move in a weekend and normally these sorts of man made nature designs are so twee and leave me with a real sense of fakeness - not the landscaping at 36; for me it is a real value add. As mentioned there is a bedroom wing nicely positioned in behind the living areas - ideally suited for smaller children but no problems for teenagers. To the rear is a fantastic garage set up and loft for those troublesome relatives or makes a great second study or teenage retreat.  Like all modern renos this will not be for everybody but for one or two it may make the juices flow sufficiently to fight it out somewhere between 4 and ........well who knows in this market. I like it.
