Comments on 4 York Street STRATHMORE

This house was probably built late 50s/early 60s and in my opinion has somewhat lost its identity due to the addition of the rendering. But despite the lack of a classic facade, I was pleasantly surprised about the feel, the sunlight, the living spaces and the WOW factor the owners have created outdoors. Because you enter the home from the side, the floorplan doesn't have an immediate clear flow. But it is well sectored, with bedrooms one end and living the other. The school opposite is probably a pain with traffic, but the proximity to local shops and parklands is excellent. In summary, I think this is a good family home that will require little or no further upgrading expenditure in the foreseeable future.
