At this street address you expect a certain type of home and 58 Howitt is and it isn't that certain type of home. This truly is a world class home, brilliantly designed to take in all aspects of modern living such as light, space, flow, orientation and connection/separation. For instance the way the outside balconies work at the top level are something I have never seen before and something very few architects could have conceived. As our locale is Bagel Belt Central, you would expect a very classy offering at this price tag; however this home is a home that would sit comfortably in any cultural precinct in any part of the world - its generic to all cultural likings but those words don't best describe that 58 Howitt truly is a world home of immense class. This home gets and easily deserves one of our highest ratings of the year - upstairs is very private without feeling a tomb or a dormitory, in fact it feels open and private all at the same time. The orientation of the home has turned an east facing rear block into a north facing one and the living areas benefit greatly in terms of light. I go through a lot of expensive homes (where people obviously have spent money but money didn't provide all the answers) and often I feel like I'm walking through something a little bit commercial, a little industrial - like an art gallery or a medical room - but this home doesn't give me that feeling - its warm - its inviting - it's one of the best family homes and one of the best in the price range I've seen - have a look if you get a chance.
