Comments on 59 Glen Street HAWTHORN

This is a modern lock-and-leave, low-maintenance option within an easy walk of Scotch College, which can be moved into and lived in straight-away. The property is tailor-made for an older family which does not need a large entertaining or backyard area (perhaps because they would go to the Peninsula on the weekend). Recent history shows an increasing need for this product. Most will admire the level of finish and fitout, which is very good and in line with modern design trends. However, given that this offering is all about vertical living, the omission of a lift could rule out older buyers or those who cannot use stairs, and may limit long-term liveability here.  And while it is located within the prized Scotch Hill part of Hawthorn, being at the M1 end near Callantina Road could present noise and traffic issues at times.
