
This is a great little part of South Yarra - close to everything, brilliant to train and shops and the street is beautiful. We have bought two here recently. The home itself is really all about the indoors - it has a formal, quality feel about it. A quality renovation with quality fittings.The entrance is good, but feels a little tight with stairs. The living areas are a little away from the kitchen, making it hard to talk to guests while you're cooking. There is however some room in the kitchen, as well as a really good outdoor courtyard, that could be used for entertaining in summer. It's a top quality kitchen - nice and light. Light could have been an issue here given it is on the south-facing side of a pair of two, but the middle courtyard has fixed a lot of those issues. The rear courtyard needs some planting to give it some character and to lessen the sense of being overlooked by others. The master works for me - although it is a bit of a walk-through. The third bedroom is small. There are a number of stairs but that is usual for this type of home. As for the property itself, the car parking, although only one, is a positive. (It might be possible to make two (STCA) but you would need to lose a fence and privacy.) Great location, good home, more so inside than outside.
