A proud facade, excellent car parking and a lot of potential are on offer here for a buyer with vision, although any grand plans should be balanced with a clear understanding of the outcomes that this home can offer - be it lifestyle or investment.

Big rooms inside and room to extend to the rear (STCA) gives the flexibility to modernise this floorplan without needing obvious large scale structural re-arrangement. The car parking to the rear is very generous and something of a rarity in the area, however the access to it and some of the rear area is common property so that will need to be shared and taken into account. The noise from traffic that is present from Swanston Street is also something that will need to be taken into account as it may be a concern for some - there is less this end of the street, however it is still present.

To bring this home to its former glory, there will be a considerable amount of money to be spent and this project will not be for the faint hearted; meaning this is not a small undertaking for those who want to live in it comfortably. Renting this property in the short, mid and even long terms is also a real possibility. Given the proximity to Melbourne University, hospitals and other institutions, there may be a good number of students looking for accommodation close by.
