A grand home on a huge block that would have been the home in the district at its time of building, and probably still is today. Built in 1880, this home is a grand Victorian with a very powerful entrance - both from the street and as you enter the home. Leading off the entrance to the south is a reception room of almost ballroom like proportions. A large master suite leads off the entrance to the north, and there are more bedrooms either side of the hallway that leads to the rear living area with its kitchen, family living, study and other rooms. The renovations throughout the home are a little dated, but have been successful in bringing the home into the modern world without diminishing any of its character. The rear living room could do with some thought and updating but the bones are there, with doors opening out to a rear space large enough for a tennis court.
