Our rating from 4 September 2009:
There is a lot to like about this home; it has a good facade, and the land size and position is good Armadale. A bit of tram noise is its only positional negative. Car access is from the rear and side, but the laneway is useable and the garage is big. But inside is where the home really shines: it's an excellent marraige of period to new. The ceiling heights and Victorian features combine with a bit of glitz that, while slightly old, is not really dated and gives it a homey and exciting feel all at once. For me the big plus is the rooms: there are plenty of them, the key rooms are a good size and there is good separation of the ground floor master bedroom from the children's bedrooms. There are also few steps, making it a great home for older people. This should go very well, and probably well over the initial quote of the agents.
Our rating from January 2018:
Good homes with good bones don't change and the current owners have added finishing style.
