Well let's start with the façade: it's certainly one of the more unusual ones I've seen, especially in Bayside. Perhaps the only similar one is in Beaconsfield Parade. Being so unusual, it will have fans and it will also have detractors. For me, I think it makes a statement and that is what it was designed to do. The block itself has a north-facing rear, which is a big tick. But it is just a standard block and the price they are asking is far from that. Location to transport is not its strong point - although that is true for all of Beaumaris. The home itself does have a feeling of quality in terms of build, and the architects have done a good job with the block they were given. But the feel of the house is a little cold and industrial, due mainly to the minimalist finishes and the polished floors, which may not be everyone's cup of tea. The flow of the home is good, although it is more a teenagers' than a toddlers' home. The park opposite is a big plus. The big question, given there are few comparables, is what sort of leap of faith you want to take in terms of what it may be worth in the future - presuming that is important to you.
