Comments on 10 Elgin Street HAWTHORN

Original single-storey Victorian home which has been renovated a few times in it's lifetime and is propbably due for another workover to the rear again. Corner street position leaves the front of this house a little exposed - it is well setback though and may provide an opportunity for an off-street car-park. Front section works OK and although livable the flow is less than ideal to the rear - lacks a meaningful open-plan area and the ceiling heights are low. Rear yard is a good size and will afford opportunties - not too sure that the detached studio spaces really add much value yet the rear car access does and this is a big plus.
