Comments on 13 Wahroongaa Crescent MURRUMBEENA

This mock period property has all the room to accommodate a large family and, with its convenient position opposite Boyd Park and only minutes to Chadstone Shopping centre, it is hard to fault for its type. The floorplan is flexible, with most rooms in the right position. The location of the master bedroom on the ground floor separate from the rest of the bedrooms makes it more suitable for a family with teenagers than a family with very young children. The architect has gone to considerable lengths to replicate the Edwardian detailing of an earlier period and, whilst it gives the property a rustic feel - particularly in the hallways and the bathrooms, I can’t but help feel the rooms lack a little warmth. The property is well-positioned on the block and, with conifers screening the west side of the property, the large backyard is private, making the alfresco area next to the garage ideal for summer entertaining. We have seen some good prices paid on the right properties in the area over the last twelve months, so this will an interesting one to watch.
