Comments on 18 Ames Avenue CARNEGIE

Good land, good (enough) home, good area and good flexibility.

18 Ames Ave could be long term family home, it could suit developers now or in the future for townhouses perhaps (STCA) and it could be an investment opportunity for those looking for a longer term hold.

The home has an oldie world look and feel and so it may not attract the level of interest that has been exhibited by buyers competing for up-to-the-minute homes in recent years. However, if you're willing to put your our own stamp on it, you may just find happiness here.

The recent sale in the street suggests a price. The vendor will have a price, related to its last sale no doubt. Other buyers will have a price. In this street and in this precinct where period homes on bigger sized blocks are becoming more difficult to find, this opportunity may not go unnoticed to those who have been waiting.

It will be interesting to see how the market views these mixed streetscapes.

Overall however, this could be a good property for the right buyer.
