There is a relaxed, holiday-type feel about this large period home located within the popular Dorrington Estate. It may suit parents wanting a home in a quiet area in which to raise a family, with the convenience of transport, freeway, schools, open spaces and local shops nearby. This home may also suit older families as it is well-zoned inside to provide bedroom separation and multiple living areas. It also has a zoned backyard providing multiple entertaining areas. As such, this property does not have an open-plan layout but for the most part, it has rooms and outdoor spaces of good sizes and in the right places. Although some may find the facade rather plain for a period home and the home could benefit from a cosmetic upgrade in the future, the current renovation has catered for the slope of the block well, with only one floor level change inside the home. A concern for buyers may be the lack of undercover parking, although there is off-street parking for two cars. Overall, this home could offer long term flexibility for a family who love to entertain and enjoy an outdoor lifestyle.
