
One of the better modern French provincial homes I have seen. If you are a lover of this type of house style you will be impressed with the design overall, as well as with the detailing and finish. For me, the tiled terracotta roof is a key feature of the façade - I remember a recent similar property in Metung Street Balwyn having this too and really admiring it - and it sold well. The floor plan is hard to fault - it's great to see a lift included, especially given the house has three levels. Liveability is factored in well I think, which is not always the case with these offerings. The laundry is a good size and the kitchen is well laid out. Another key plus is the northern rear aspect, which is great for bringing light into the backyard and the rear informal living areas. The property would suit an older or growing family very well; it is easy walking distance to Genazzano, Carey, Camberwell Grammar, Camberwell Girls etc. Question marks for some could be the land size - 710m2 is not that big - and the fact that the street itself features a mixed bag of housing types.
