29 Gardiner Parade is another move in ready but partially renovated home which I saw today only this time, any improvements would not be undoing recent renovations.

This is a neat Californian bungalow in a good street in Glen Iris. Being situated on the north side means there’s a slope as it backs down onto Ferndale trail which also means there’s access and vistas; leafy green wide vistas from the kitchen family room, upstairs as well as from the backyard and pool. Serenity and space abounds at this property although inside, it feels like there’s a lot of rooms and not really an easy flow. 5 bedrooms and 1 bathroom upstairs will not work for most people. I do like the elevated office on the ground floor as it overlooks the kitchen and family room. Who doesn’t work from home (at least sometimes) and not want to see the kids or part of the backyard when doing so? Better than feeling you’re in a closet space!

The combination of good enough location plus good enough accommodation (and better vistas) with good enough agents (or maybe better than that) means this campaign could set the benchmark of the family home market in Glen Iris in M1.
