I liked this home, and many others will also. While the rooms are not overly large and the entry hallway is a little tight, overall this has an intimate, quiet feel. It is well-suited to indoor/outdoor entertaining as the rear yard connects nicely to the rear open-plan living area and is ideally sited to the north. Crossakiel is a quiet court within the prized Scotch Hill area, and this could well suit small families sending kids to Scotch or even those wanting to remain in the area as they downsize. The single car garage here may be a concern for some, although it shouldn’t be a deal breaker for most, one suspects. I remember the auction not long ago of 2 Crossakiel (larger land, similar house, south facing rear), which surprisingly struggled on auction day and sold after passing in for $2,125,000. But that was different time on the market and it flew under the radar. I don’t think buyers will have it so easy here.
