Most of the 50+ visitors to the first open for inspection of this landmark property probably walked away having a picture in their mind of how this great house would look after it was completely renovated. The rooms wiould be large and open, bathrooms would be built, it would have a kitchen and the kids would be skipping through the big north facing garden.
But how can you get your plans approved by council? How can you extend the dining room with the current ornate corninces? How do you open up the kitchen, laundry and that back area? And what can you do with the tower. Well the resolution on the latter is proably the easiest, but I hope someone does undertakes the challenge because it is a house worth preserving. It's in a great street. It has some great neighbours. So who has a large risk/reward appetite?
