Comments on 32 Lindsay Street MCKINNON

For families seeking a good McKinnon position with long term potential, 32 Lindsay ticks the box.

The rear garden is deceptively large, but is currently organised in a number of partitioned and paved sections.  To the side of the family room are two small rooms, one a bathroom and the other a small, windowless study.  If they were swapped around, there would have been potential for an ensuite to the master bedroom at the rear, which is a nice size as is, but leaves the house visually disconnected from the garden.

An open plan kitchen and family room opens on to the garden, but being south facing gets limited natural light.  A tandem garage offers flexibility for families with hobbies or plenty of "toys" but may be awkward for parking of cars due to the width of the driveway leading to it.

There's plenty to ponder here, and potential to improve if this position and price point match your criteria.

Mal James's Comments on 32 Lindsay Street MCKINNON

A basic period home and an entry level property into the McKinnon High School Zone.   The property as land only rates at 642 due to its south facing rear.   The property offers good 5 years flexibility if a major renovation is on the cards (or a rebuild (STCA), as the current floor plan is not ideal.   Three of the bedrooms are small or awkwardly shaped and two are directly off the living room, as is the second bathroom.  The rear garage provides plenty of storage, but given the width between the house and fence it is unlikely to house cars and uses up a fair bit of the back yard, which is not large. If extending up, the southern rear would further restrict light to the rear living areas and back garden.   The position, however, is very convenient and if you had confidence in a handling a big renovation or a rebuild and you were planning on living there long term, the location may outweigh any orientation/light concerns.
