
Apartment 2 - We like the façade on this apartment block - it's had some care and thought put into it. Apartment One has even more going for it externally in terms of additional land and ground floor access. Inside, the home feels spacious and well built (STBI), with quality appliances, design, proportions and finishes. The master bedroom position may be an issue for light sleepers in that it's next to the underground garage entrance, but for most that would be no big deal. The bedroom position is positive - wing, with south light and nicely separated from living areas. The living areas take in the current northern light and there is good indoor and outdoor flow to all spaces. Carson Street carries some traffic and you are not far away from Studley Park road and its traffic noise. However the main issue for us is the next door unknowns to the north. A similar block to the one you are viewing is proposed and while that would assist in noise reduction and probably look very stylish, these future unknowns are the main issues when purchasing in Block 39. Will light or privacy be compromised? Quite possibly not to any great extent - but it's not certain. More importantly, will the visual bulk of the new block have an effect on your enjoyment? Will you be able to see as much sky, will big walls change your feelings of space? These are questions that can't be answered now. The general area is fantastic for those who like to live very close to the city, who like walking along the Yarra and who like the option of being able to enjoy Kew shopping one day and Richmond the next. Overall this seems a classy offering and the issues raised could easily amount to zip.
Convenient position, nice street appeal - High quality finishes and spec. ie - Gaggenau appliances - Like the floor plan layout and flow - Not sure about entry of basement car-parking next to main bedroom - vibration, noise and lights at night could be of concern - Future development to northern side likely to affect outlook and will block sun to courtyard areas, particularly in winter - Basement a good size and storage room nice bonus, need to make sure this is big enough
