2010 RATING
My first impressions of this home were very positive and they continued that way until I left. If you want quality one level living right in amongst Chapel street and you also want a sense of space and a feeling of a slow lifestyle then 49 Fitzgerald is worth some serious thought. The neighbours are the only real maybe and its a maybe not a negative - you need to sort through that yourself. But frankly lets consider the value here - even if it pushes well towards the big $3 number and it would if it was April and should even though its June then what sort of value package are you getting. Anywhere north or Toorak Road or in the Domain or even further away near Trak village would see fighting on a lot higher number than what is being quoted by Hugh Hardy on this one. Unless I'm losing it or the street just doesn't do it for others then this home if it sells even with 10% surcharge to the top part of the quote has to be the value buy of the year. I mean grass and South Yarra are not usually synonymous. As you can tell this home presses my buttons - it may well press yours as well.
