This is a well renovated and classic period home with enough accommodation and living space for a family to live comfortably in and enjoy.

Charnwood Road does have some history behind it and some grand old homes reside there, however there has been a proliferation of flats in the street since the 70s. While 6 Charnwood is not surrounded by them, their presence may deter some buyers. In saying this however, the home is quite private to the rear and when inside the St Kilda road traffic noise was not overly intrusive.

The home itself is spacious and well laid out with good separation between the main and other bedrooms and also the living areas. The on-site secure parking is also a big plus even if it isn't a garage or carport.

For buyers looking for a well-sized period home, this is definately worth a look. Also recommended would be a good understanding of this location in terms of lifestyle and demand in the future too. The flats are only one factor that affects market value and demand here.
