We last rated this back in March 2010 and what we said then still holds true: It’s not often I agree with the agent’s headline but this time they have it spot on – this one is destined to be a landmark. As far as homes go, especially in this area, this is a truly amazing home. If you want privacy and you are an understated guy or girl then don't buy 60 Tuxen St. But if you are a bit out there, want a truly unique home and have minimalist leanings then you should look at this. It has everything you’d expect in a modern home, and then some. I admire the builders bravery - well done on having a go and giving us an honest, high quality and unique product. Price? Well who knows for sure, there has only been one real comparable that I'm aware of in the last few months in this immediate area and that was 20 Tormey, which hit $3.5m. 7 Rookwood was around $3m and 51 Kenny was north of $3m but on bigger land, so a different offering. If this is to break $4m that would surely be a record for Balwyn North. But, you know what, if the right bidders are there I think it could.
