There is a lovely feel to this timber period home, which has been well updated in the past but would benefit from a cosmetic upgrade. The floorplan flows well, the rear open-plan living areas face north and the bedroom separation is excellent - particularly for a young/growing family of four. The main concern for most would be the car-parking. A double carport exists at the rear, but access via the cobbled laneway is not ideal and looks to be seldom used by the locals. You could get away with this ok in Fitzroy or even some parts of Hawthorn, but buyers may be more discerning in Canterbury. This part of Canterbury is a popular one with families and for good reason, as it is walking distance to Maling Road, Canterbury Primary and within the Camberwell High School zone. Solid recent sales in this precinct will give buyers added confidence here.
